And finally, we've come to the end of the world cup fever.. mac'd at nite are once again empty..

I've decided to really help out wf the swim cca instead of just bringing the kids there. I'll go into the pool and help out the coaches. Which means i'll need to go gt a swim suit.. I'm thinking of a tankini. But i'm sure the parent volunteers and the parents waiting outside may raise an eyebrow. Hmm, better to be safe than sorry.

Nxt week's my nie investiture. Most of my classmates' relatives n frenz nt coming for tis. But they're coming for the NTU convo instead. Looking forward to that.. gona wear the sq top for the v first time! =)

My nephews are so freaking cute. My 2nd nephew, Dong You.. when i open the car door for him, he immediately said 'Ah yiiiii..' haha~ den when he saw my mum he was like 'wai porrrrr' and then he repeated our names several times after. Most adorable thing ever.. =)

Head something v disappointing today.. cheerldrs frm church team moving to other team permanently.. and HE didnt leave alone. he roped in others with him. This is what I call an action of the weak. He can't gt the whole team to follow him, so he get the remaining who chose to stay by him, to another team. Guess he has nv been a team player in the first place. Ever since in Magnum i gues.. If you can't stay long enuf in a team, what makes you think its the team that is at fault and not u?.. Shd i 'warn' L?.. hmm.. nt for me to judge. He'll figure out what he's like soon enuf. Bt the issue with using church property when you alrdy hv no say, that is definitely a no-no. He stil have the cheek to suggest to them using church property. When I heard frm cc, i seriously cud slap J in the face if he was there. Bt i wun. Anw, Pst is updated and I gues he no longer has any say in AC or emerge. Is he fulfiling the mandate?.. Has it been that long since I last posted?.. Life's good. Can't complain. Just realise Queensway's pool is nearer than I thought. Will start swimming and be healthier! my mid-year resolution! =D Macbook Pro aint that bad afterall.. =) glad that I got it. 5 more days and we'll be celebrating our 3rd yr as a married couple.. has it even been that long?.. colleagues are nice, can't complain either.. girls are getting to know me in school.. no longer calling me a bitch.. nt that i know of.. good to see audrey happily attached.. i'm happy for her too.. =)

i dun tink i handle stress v well.. my fren told me i hv 2 exams on one day, another 2 exams on another day.. i freaked out on the spot.. called my lecturer in-charge, nt much she can do abt it.. uni policy.. i cried in the canteen.. wf my classmates ard me.. they too freaked out when they saw me cry.. onli me and another classmate hv that kind of timing due to our combi.. one in the morning n one in the noon.. hw am i gg to give my best in dat kind of condition.. worse when neuro n physio on the same day.. jz the tot of it nw makes me teary again.. even when my fren tried to encourage me today make me teary.. i jz cant think abt the consequences of it.. i've worked so hard last yr to gt 2nd upper.. if its tis dat makes me fall below 2nd upper, i'm so gona cry my eyes out.. its jz nt fair..

bb tried to encourage when i gt hm.. he kept saying 'bb's so hardworkin.. no wories bb.. when i was in nus, i didnt even study as much as bb..' i told him the privilege of studyin in uni doesnt come ez for me, he had it all pathed out for him.. of cos i take it more personally and putting in the extra effort..

when my classmate (a dip guy who crossed over to the degree prog like me) came n consoled me today, i told him the exact same ting i told bb. he replied 'dat's v motivating jess..' we're both in the same shoe and tis is y all 9 of us in the class (all frm diploma cross-over to degree) r v grateful for where we are nw.. and dat's y all of us r hard workers.. i reali wish i hv more time.. i reali wish my efforts dun go to waste jz bcos of bad timing..

Home on a saturday nite. Jz came bc from twn wf bb, wen n dree. bb at a groom's entourage meeting.. wen at work now.. dree at movies.. me, at home working on my assignments. me n bb gg to the zoo tmr!! teacher's day week, gt free entry to zoo wf civil servant card! =) last yr was the sg flyer.. hehe~ once a yr perk for being a tcher.

anw, it was a gd nite today! gt to watch lion dance comp.. =) i always tell myself, if i weren't a cheerleader, i'll probably b in a lion or dragon dance troupe.. i love watching the lion and dragon come 'alive'! they're so pro and well, its still stunting in a way.. haha! bt yea, they're damm cool! the way they leap ard on the pole, the coordination, the trust in their partner.. its everything that's so captivating! hmm, lets hope that there's a lion dance troupe in henry park so tat i can try my hands on it next yr!! =D

my sec sch frenz jz came over to my place for a reali late hse-warming.. yea i noe.. long over-due.. bt i'm glad they came.. miz them loads.. n they brought loads of food.. there's sushi, old chang kee, roasted duck, fondue, choc, snacks.. etc.. there's a girl i wanted to intro kw bt didnt reali gt to it.. anw, wen came n cooked tomyam for us! hehe~ asked him along cos he knew my mates.. and seen them before.. anw, my sec sch frenz were kinda shock to c him cos he's my ex n all.. n i used to bring wen to our sec sch gatherings.. thou it was jz 2x..

i had the time of my life at 'anfield' today!! it was so much fun! i had so much fun cheering for both singapore n liverpool! lionel lewis was awesome.. so is alonso.. for that 15mins.. n reina.. though he touched the ball like twice onli.. and noor alam shah.. and torres.. damm cute.. actually it was all the comments tat came frm the people sitting around me dat made it so much more fun! haha~ n then there's tis Man U fan.. wearing the jersey n all.. damm cocky some more.. then gt tis ang moh telling him to fuck off and fall off the ledge.. everyone was so damm pissed with him and chanting 'man u sucks!' the police officer had to come and ask him to go off but he took out a sg jersey and starting saying, 'chil.. i'm supporting sg..' when he took off the man u jersey, everyone shouted 'no balls!' mwhahah!! damm hilarious!!

yest flew kite with my nephew at tis open field in renjong. once again, i ran out of string bt i manage to pass the string to him when it was quite high.. it was kinda funny. he was tugging on the kite, looked at the kite for a while and gt bored so he looked my mum instead who was holding onto an umbrella and wearing shades.. when the sky was quite clear cos it was going to rain.. oh btw, my mum went for eye correction surgery.. and our degree are the same la! geez.. hiao leh..

hv been wakin up with bb in the mornin i.e. 5.30am.. n tryin v hard to gt bc to slp.. bt when i did, i've been having loads of weird dreams n its wearing me out.. yest i dreamt tat i lost cheezels even when i had the leash on.. then tis morning i dreamt tat i was wearing a nice dress and i skidded across a dirty lane.. i'm so tired when i wake up.. nvm.. and trying to find something to do when i wake up everyday is oso a challenge.. thank god there's another mj session ltr in the evening.. =D

Last night was one heck of a service.. celebrities weekend, FIR, vanness, Milk and some others were performing and it was amazing. After queuing 2 hrs for redbulls x-fighters, tis 1 hr queue in the morning for the liverpool vs singapore match is like nuting.. bt the weather was definitely killing me!! it was so freaking hot so i had to turn my back towards the heat and i felt that my head was shrinking and confining that badly it nearly gave me a headache.. thank god i didnt faint or get heat exhaustion otherwise bb wud b disappointed.. anywaz, i was like the 10th in line out of over 30 people then.. some didnt had cash with them and they had to go to the nearest atm to withdraw thus need to re-queue again.. thank god for the nice lady store mgr who let us in like 10 mins earlier, at ard 8.50am. I left ard 9am and had breakfast at al azhar~! hehe~ too bad its too early for my mee pattaya.. sobz..

Going to sch in a while, helping out with the PE com to test the newbies for the physical proficiency test.. hope its gona b fun.. nv led a grp of adults by myself b4.. haha~

Helping out in my church 'parade of sch' again.. participating tis time in the uni/jc cluster.. 2nd trg and i've gotten quite a no. of injuries.. everyone is pretty new except for me and 3 others. u hv no idea.. so we were trying out 221 in expo yest (my 2nd trg and the team's 5th), i was the mid-tier, gues i'm too heavy for him, he cudnt take it, was moving inwards towards the other mid tier so i had to 'push' the top bac down before we all collapse into the other mid tier and i fell bac, hitting my head alil on the step. but the main impact was on my left hip.. bb had to 'rub' for me and it was so painful last nite dat i cried.. =( better to be the hip than my spine or tail bone i guess.. nw my knee is working up again, had to buy a knee guard last nite.. sianz.

1st attempt to cook my own lunch without bb..

The maggi mee of cos not the 1st time.. wanted to cook rice.. bt hungry so dun wana wait that long.. initially i wanted to go out to get some stuff bt it rained. so i stayed home and tried to cook. as u can see, the vege is too drained in cooking oil.. its kinda icky bt nt bad.. i waited too long to put in the vege into the wok.. the chopped onions become golden brown already even before the vege is in.. and after i put it in, the oil splatter everywhere!! i was in panic zone and i duno wad to do.. so i waited for the splattering to stop.. my feet and arms kana.. anyway, after which, from what i remembered from cindy, the seasoning thingy comes next and i started frying away..

it was one heck of an experience.. after the one time 5 yrs ago with bb by my side.. anyway, after i took out the vege, i left the remaining oil in it and started frying my scrambled egg which come out fine cos i didnt add in any extra oil.. -_-'''

though the vege looked icky, i finished it all nonetheless. it actuali tasted quite gd.. if only there was less oil.. n less oil splattering..

Eve, eve of cny: Had mini-reunion dinner at my place wf my mum, bro n ah-ma.. bb cooked steamboat and we played mj after.. my mum won overall.. my ah-ma was cradling cheezels the whole nite.. ha~

Eve of cny: had 2nd reunion dinner at bb's mum's place.. went to marina bay after.. so disappointing.. no fireworks for the first time in yrs.. only firecrackers.. then no game stalls.. so sianz la.. we left immediately after the crackers..

Day 1: went to my grandma's place.. my baby nephew is scared of bb.. duno y.. sobz.. c him only will cry.. gave angbaos to my cuz.. didnt stay for long.. had to go to bb's mum place for lunch.. then went to mum's place and gave more angbaos.. my cuz cried cos my aunt called him ah-pui.. haiz.. then went to bb's aunt's place.. (we were pretty shagged by then)

then his aunt seems to like me alot.. the one from his mum's side.. was telling bb mayb i gt that chi-na look.. nt v angmo-ish like bb's family.. so can relate more to them.. ha~ the first qns she ask bb when we reach, 'ey, where's jesse?' she rmb's my name! and we only met 3-4 times?.. she doesnt even rmb my sis-in-law's name.. who jz gt married to the family bt she's been wf the family longer than i did.. oh well..

then went to his dad's side's aunt's place.. (it kinda sucks tat we're giving out that many angbaos..) stayed for like 10mins only.. i miss the boys.. too bad that tings gota fall out bw the adults.. (hush hush tngy in the family..)

Day 2: went over to bb's mum place again for lunch.. den after went to my 2nd sis's hse to visit my new 2nd nephew! (kinda stress.. all boys..) dong yew! quite a cool name rte?.. went to see chinese master of some sort to gt the name.. dylan (my first nephew was there too..) he cried again when he saw bb.. haiz.. bt soon after.. like 30mins or so.. bb ease in to him and slowly win him over! hehe~ gambled and win my bro-in-law's $20 over.. ha~ den went back home..

wena n amanda came over first and the rest of the snrs reached my place.. we started playing black jack and watched CAIO.. Daryl, karen, kyra, YY, feli, willie, gla, richard, dree, xiaohui, clayton, jimmy (part of the 'family' now.. ha~).. hope i din miss out any others.. came.. nt in order.. derrick (IJC) stayed til pretty late wf us thou the rest of them left.. he won lots loe.. the guys were playing mj and the rest of us in black jack.. we only played in-b/w towards the last hr or something.. clayton was the 'chiongster'.. and lost 'quite a bit'.. jimmy lost all of his winnings.. feli oso lost quite alot.. my hands reali went weak.. i was dwn on my luck wf tat.. keep getting to pay double into the pool.. sianz.. bt i asked for a bit onli.. so nt too bad.. =P

lets hope my luck turns for the better tis sat.. =D oh yea.. and in the midst of all these, we forgot to take any photos at all!!! damm sianz la.. only when everyone was at the door, i'm like 'shit, we didnt take any pic!'.. k sat, remind someone pls remind me ya.. oh, and clay's leaving on sat.. wad time?..

I just realise this, u change laptop, u kinda lose alot of things.. like the stuff in my favourites folder!! darn! bt it sure feels gd using my new HP EliteBook.. from nie of course.. its only for loan bt its gd enuf.. hopefuli the buyback price will drop after 1.5yrs.. i duno y i loan this laptop too.. my classmate was saying, his home laptop for sch work, this laptop will b for watching movies and song.. ha~ its specs is almost as gd as macbook! from wad i remember from the trip to Apple wf neh-gia.. i hv web-cam in this! woot! ha~ ey kw, u can see me soon! ha~

Yesterday was really one wild night! The temasek peeps came over and we had pizza, booze and gambling all in one! I showed them the japanese cheer comp and they were really impressed cos all girls base ma.. ha~ everytime guys see that their first reaction will be, 'i'll be heading the gym tmr.' yea right.. haha~ but i'm glad it motivated them a lil..

next i asked them if they wana play black jack and they dun mind since we have nothing else to do.. so i was the dealer and the first one i got.. black jack! haha~ everyone paid double and i won like $4-5 in that one round.. =P after a few games, i open up the mahjong set and won $22.. hehe~ felt alil bad winning their money.. and then we had the gift exchange.. ha~ they hv the wierdest gifts.. one gave a file, inside with stationery and stuff.. and when byron saw it.. he was like 'wah.. thanks ar.. this is like the best present ever.. -_-''' and then there's this slimy yellow thingy.. then they played with it, put it around huiping's hair and it got all tangled up.. silly girl.. i had the best gift ever! the one thing i dun hv at home.. toothbrush holder.. hehe~

afterwhich bb came home, took over me for the next round of mj.. and i drank with some of them.. playing number games.. i didnt drink much but the 2 other girls kana alot.. one of them started puking in my toilet.. poor girl.. and she was freaking hilarious.. she's the hall queen of temasek hall and she's really drama.. in a cute way.. oh and she looks like ericia lee! v chio.. haha~ but think she's attached to this guy in the team already.. so, beng, no chance for u.. (i'll put up the pics in a while..)

i'm glad i had at least one big party over at my place this dec.. to end with a big bang.. =P jz that bb had to mop the floor this morning.. =P looking forward to the next one!! Thou it was kinda 'belated'.. but i had a 'blast' this xmas! ha~ first, xmas eve: feli n wilson came for svc and wil went for alter call! =D thank god.. then it was seafood dinner!! it was so impromptu.. jumbo seafood baby!! slurp! the chilli crab was so freakin delicious.. yum.. wish for more of that.. and to end off the night.. mahjong session!! hehe~ cindy, daphne and adrain came over.. hehe~ bb was the big winner..

feli's my first official guest in my guest room! with the new king koll single mattress.. she liked it.. gues its quite good.. $1k+.. ha~ a gift frm bb's aunt.

my exam results are out! and i'm v proud of myself.. i'm not boasting or anything.. but it has been 10yrs since i last gt such gd results.. which is since O lvls.. i did put in alot of effort.. to gt 3As and 3Bs. bb was v proud of me too.. hehe~ he said the bkk was all worth it.. =) since he paid for everything.. =P he knew i deserve a gd break. i told him i'm gona put in the xtra effort to gt 4As next sem! wich is alil tough cos i've gt 2 sci modules and tis sem, its the sci that pulled down my overall GPA. sianz man.. and i tot i did well for that exam.. =( bt its ok.. will aim for better grades next year!!

I love my girls.. and guys of cos.. haha~ adastra that is.. miss them loads.. went to sentosa with them yesterday. kinda like a farewell for the year 2.. and wena managed to do a back tuck!! woohoo! finally.. but she did with the snr guys.. tis batch i onli have 3 guys.. and they're kinda.. more towards the smaller frame ones.. so i hope give them 1-2 mths, their toss technique will improve.. i really wish for them to do a tuck for once.. even if they don't go for competition, at least during their sports day performance..

when mrs jen gave her speech, i was really touched i almost teared. she's the best teacher to work with! no wonder she has that promotion so quickly.. =( i'm really gona miss her!! this batch had decorated the place alil.. but the presents werent as creative as the last few batches.. stil love jamie's cheer doll for me!! =) speaking of which, that girl went to a rose tattoo across her tummy! how big a rose is that! with the leaves and stalk of cos.. cant wait to see it for myself.. =) she just got it the dat b4 sentosa.. so cudnt join us..

the rest of us had lotsa fun in the water!! seriously speaking.. it was quite some time since i had so much fun.. hehe~ did all sorts of stupid stuff in the water.. played captain's ball in the water.. which was reali tiring.. played volleyball on land.. i had more hits wf wilson alone than with the entire group of about 16 people.. 8 on each side but we just keep picking up ball after each serve.. yea, we, as a whole were that bad.. geez.. the most number of hits was 7?.. good enough.. ha~wil post the pics real soon.. gg sentosa again on monday with the church team.. hopefuli i wont get burnt again.. no more tanning oil.. sun block pls!

I'm tearing up now.. not becos i got into another fight with bb.. but bcos i'm watching staying alive hosted by kelly rowlands. she went into places like kenya and hyena square and learn about sex workers and aids.. its a really bad situation.. esp hyena square. it is so called becos the people there literally stay with the animals.. and their house is no better than a shack.. most of them got tricked for a better life and were striped of their clothes to become prostitute for USD 10.. and the money goes to the person who cheated them.. not to them! this is just wrong.. looking at their environment and consider where i am now.. i shd be counting my blessings. and watching Oprah only makes it worse.. =( every celebrity is trying to tell others how short our lives really is.. and Oprah talked about this author, Richard Carlson, who wrote this book - Don't sweat over the small stuff. It is really good and i'm getting it after i finish all 4 of stephanie meyer.. i'm only at the 2nd. anw, richard carlson has died 2 years back due to heart disease. it was all so sudden and as if he knew he was dying, he wrote a letter to his wife. it was so heart-warming, i couldnt hold back my tears. His wife published his letter in a small book - An hour to live. Richard wrote 'if he had 1 hr to live, i wudnt call my financial planner to decide what's gona happen in future. if he had 1 hr to live, i wudnt call those who owe me money.' he goes on to list a whole lot of people whom he wouldn't call.. and of cos finally 'if i had 1 hr to live, i would call u (the wife) to tell u how much i love u..' i'm a sucker for love stories!! sobz..
